i don't see that there is anything wrong with it if Vas helped or shared ideas with Franz to improve his Fritz engine. Vas is still a great genius programmer in my mind

It was a shame that such a talented programmer was out of business.
EVEN if he is such a rogue as it was said and meant to him so a savage punishment, it is a very talented rogue.
EVEN if he took good parts of Fruits, as it was said, it did it as nobody else did.
Not just copying you get such a superior engine as he did in those years.
I celebrate his comeback and certainly I will buy that fritz 15.
The hanging of Vas always seemed to me as piece of revenge, fury, envy and "mala leche".

Here's a good "fish story". In 1984 Bert Gower and I were in London for the advances in computer chess conference, and to play david levy one of the famous "matches" since we had won the WCCC in 1983. Bert wanted to stop by one of the many "fish and chip" places and we did. He didn't particularly like the pretty strong-tasting fish he ended up with. He went back up to the counter and tried to explain to the server there what he wanted, but they could not understand each other when he used the word "too strong". So he finally said, in exasperation, "I want something that doesn't taste so much like fish." Guy looked him right in the eye and said, "why don't you try the fu**ing spare ribs, mate?"

I almost fell out of my chair laughing...

Yes it is true. What is not clear is if it is a new version of 'Rybka' combined with the new GUI or if people are going to buy R4 again with GUI 15.

How do we know it's true and not a bogus announcement? This is the sort of the thing that would normally make me check the date on the calendar in early spring .
