Deep Fritz 14 - problem with correct number of cores/threads

Post by Norbert Raimund Leisner »

Hello ,

I use the current edition of diagnostic tool Speccy (freeware)
http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download with the characteristics:

cores 4
threads 4
name Intel Core i5 3470
codename Ivy Bridge
socket Socket 1155 LGA
technoloy 22nm
specifikation Intel Core i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz

Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit SP1 = operation system

etc.

After installing Deep Fritz 14 (setup), input of serial number and activation,
starting the ChessBase-GUI: only 3 threads/cores are shown by this chess software!

Chessbase support said that the engine takes its informations sent from Windows; if necessary, the user had to readjust these settings.

On my old computer Intel Core 2 Duo the default values are o.k.

Who of you made similar experiences with Deep Fritz Interface?

Best wishes,
Norbert

To load the module has the option of "use of intelligent module", uncheck it.

Fritz leaves a core to the system, avoiding overloads.
