Thank you Graham for the tourney.

This time good result of pikoSzachy Extreme Edition :)
Congratulations to all participants!

Now I have the opportunity to announce new version of pikoSzachy EE in about 2-3 weeks. It will be yet more extreme: the size will be another 1KB smaller (6.5 KB instead of 7.5KB) and it will be slightly stronger, about 30 ELO.

You're welcome Piotr.
Congratulations on the tourney victory and I'm really looking forward to the new pikoSzachy. :)
Are you still working on nanoSzachy?

Graham.

I wasn't working on nanoSzachy for a long time, but some weeks ago I added variable reduction to my LMR implementation and now I'm tuning it. So far I got about 30 ELO improvement. The change can be applied to nanoSzachy, pikoSzachy and pikoSzachy EE, so I will probably release 3 new versions of my engines.

I didn't work on nanoSzachy for a long time, but occasionally made some changes to pikoSzachy, mainly optimisations for size.

I had a lot of fun in my first tournament on CCRL with Schooner. Congratulations to all the participants! The match was close and almost anybody could have won. Notable was Erik Madsen's MadChess that exceeded expectations and performed very well.
