Arena 3.5.1 with Windows 7 SP1 64-bit Home Edition

Hello,

I created a gauntlet with Wasp 1.01 against several top engines - but after the end of the match the complete games were neither stored into the folder "tournaments" nor into Arena.pgn:

I used the default settings and used the download link http://www.playwitharena.de/downloads/a ... 1setup.exe

No problems occured with a similar round robin-tournament and the previous interface Arena 3.5 including Windows 7 32-bit SP1 Home Edition.

What went wrong ? Or are only the complete games with tournaments automatically saved by Arena?

Not necessarily. Many Windows versions do not allow ordinary users to create files in the 'C:\Program Files' sub-tree. They then put it somewhere in a 'Roaming' folder in the user's private sub-tree instead. So you might have to look around for it.

Arena is-not designed as multi-user and store it's appdata files in program folder, not in %USERPROFILE%

This folder should have RW access for account, running Arena.

So, you have to:
- either run Arena as UAC superuser (right click - Run as administrator)
- move Arena to folder with RW access for regular user (outside Program Files folder)

Hello,
after download Arena 3.5.1 zip and extracted these data with WinRAR to: C:\Users\Downloads\Arena - then made a tournament
Acqua vs N.E.G. 1.2 all essential files were saved like Arena 23-06-2016.at and Arena.pgn.

A previous attempt was: download and extract 3.5.1 Arena.zip in the same way and moved it afterwards to another destination folder (on an external data carrier) -
consequence: Arena.pgn was not saved with the default settings!
