Hello ,

Do you know of any other engines that require additional parameters?

So it appears that many 64-bit engines do work with Penguin? But only
on a 64-bit computer? Users will just have to try and adopt the one
that works for them.
Unfortunately, Penguin can only run one UCI engine at a time.
I have tested it on Windows 7 SP1 64 bit with Stockfish 7 x64, Gull 3.1 JMV x64, Equinox 3.30 x64 and Critter 1.6a x64.
Perhaps you can run Penguin 12.1 on other 32/64 bit Windows operation systems than Edition 7 x64.

No experiences are existing about WinBoard-chess engines with WB2UCI converter.
Your help would be appreciated!
Best wishes,
