Komodo 10.2 wellcome tournament

Post by Hugo »

Hi All

I have started a tournament to wellcome Komodo 10.2 :)
12 engines involved
12 cpu usage for each engine
no tbs
small Harry Schnapp book
Rapid 20min +5 sec, 6rds, 396 games to play.
Shredder GUI, 2 games at the same time.

Quite intresting engines:
Latest Komodo
Latest Stockfish
Latest shredder
Latest Ginkgo
And for me special intresting Booot 6.1 !

I will try to update the crosstable. Livegames will not make sense at 20+5.
kind regards
Clemens Keck

Hello Clemens and thanks for this new tournament !
A couple of remarks :

1) Andscacs 0.88 is available : http://www.talkchess.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=61868

2) Good to see Shredder in a recent version !

3) Sad that Fire 5 is not widely available yet :-(

4) No hope to get a beta version of Houdini 5 ?

5) A new Komodo, heading for 1st place !

6) Is it a choice to not use ASM fish (currently 30 Elo over SF) ? https://github.com/tthsqe12/asm/tree/master/asmFish

Hi Clemens,

very nice!

Texel dev. and Chiron are more interesting as the private available Zeug Gingko and Jonny. More interesting for the visitors and Chrion and Texel have really very nice styles!

Andscacs 0.88 is available.
I am sure that the Fire programmer will give you the current version.

Have fun!!

Best

Hello Frank

thank you for your comments.
I had chiron 3.01 in a former tournament. Unfortunately chiron lost some games on time. Could not find any bigfix yet.
texel is an intresting candidate, yes
and about andscas i sw too late that ther eis a new version.

something could be quite intresting to you:
I started the actually tournament with your latest book 4.38.
Then I saw games upto move 13 or so out of book.
So I restarted the tournament and used Harry Schnapp book again.
It is because I prefer to have 3 - 7 book moves only.

have a nice Sunday
