Unfulfilled promise

Post by Lyudmil Tsvetkov »

I do not know where to post, so I simply open a new thread here.

Of course, it would have been good, if the mods had kept their promise.

What happened to the promise to lock the old benchmark thread, when the new is already online?

they are posting to this thread like mad, although they know pretty well they should not do so.

I guess we had a consensus on this, and indignation is the weakest term with which I can qualify my feeling.

what if you continue to do so for the next year or so?

a solemn mod promise is a solemn mod promise.

when there is a new thread with identical functionality, the old one should be locked, of course.

I do not see it as an unfulfilled promise, it's more a simple not thinking about it all the time.

Nonetheless I would appreciate a complete closing now as it might happening accidentally again ... and again ....

Thanks

I see no promise in the opening post of the new thread

This is a link to the last posting in the old thread. Please use it only to read back, and post new benchmarks or comments in this new thread.

If we all do this, the old thread does not have to be locked.

Funny idea you have about what a promise looks like. Anyway it is now locked as recently the old thread was posted in by accident.
