Supra 23.1 x64 Pro - rules infraction: an Arena GUI bug?

Hello,

cf. the following two games: Supra 23.1 x64 Pro refused to execute any
moves, unfortunately no debug-files were saved.

I used Arena 3.5.1. http://www.playwitharena.de/downloads/arena_3.5.1.zip (default settings)

The match was played about 10 ganes; Supra 23.1 won the first six matches normally, but in round 8 and 10 occured an error> rules infraction

round 7 and 9 > time forfeit by Supra 23.1

cannot execute moves with the white pieces, it plays only with blaclk!

My question: Is rules infraction a typical Arena bug?

The error claimed by Arena is that the engine played an illegal move. "rules infraction" is just a collective term in the PGN Termination tag that covers it,as well as several other types of irregular game termination.

Whether this is an Arena bug or a engine bug depends on whether the engine indeed played an illegal move. The illegal move wouldnot be added to the PGN game. In any case it should be considered a bug that Arena does not print what this allegedly illegal move was, together with the error message.
