Hello,
is fishtest https://github.com/glinscott/fishtest/ or etherbench https://github.com/AndyGrant/EtherBench a standalone-graphical user interface only for Stockfish or can it be used for other UCI and/or WinBoard-compatible chess engines like Andscacs, Crafty, Fruit, Ant or GarboChess etc too? For me it is unclear whether fishtest / etherbench requires CuteChess-GUI CLI necessarily or not.
Best wishes,
Norbert

I would add fishtest/etherbench here: http://computer-chess.org/doku.php?id=c ... e_gui_list

Re: Etherbench and Fishtest
Sorry, I must have forgotten to reply to your email.
both of these programs are GUI's for engine testing -- they do not allow you to actually play against the engine, or use it for analysis in any way.
They only allow you to submit possible improvements to the engine, and connect your machine to play the games needed to test the candidate improvement.
Fishtest and Etherbench are generic enough that they could be used to test other engines (I've tested Laser changes on my EtherBench), and both require cutechess-cli.
