BTW, I continued computer chess/BSG whenever I have some free time since it still gives me some relaxation and connection (to more people). However, recently I don’t have much time, energy and focus, I pick up and work on what I think easy/fresh first, thus some bugs, feature requests may be continually delayed. The releasing period will be significantly longer than before.

FYI, I have been working on the next version of BSG and a new freeware, open-source Banksia GUI for iOS which will be released with Lc0, Stockfish (NNUE) as well as some top engines.
Excellent news about your continued work on Banksia - must be tough to look at it at the moment. I hope your wife is making good progress and will recover completely and quickly.

Please take care of your family as that's your most important priority.

This app can wait until your wife is healthy again. I hope she has a speedy and full recovery.

Hello,

Feature Request:

Would like to see the ability to change the font color of the digits displayed on the 'Score Graph'.

Thanks, and I hope you are doing well.

Yep. I've often wished I could change font colors of the various areas including engine info and even coordinates.

I use Banksia 99% of the time now, REALLY love this GUI.

I too hope that things are improving with Nguyen's wife and wish their family well.

Based on the extra info you provided me, the problem is about the randomness of Polyglot books. If you set 0% to Top, BSG always picks up the best replies - almost 1 move for a given position, thus there is almost no randomness. You may need to increase the value of Top for Polyglot books or select another type of opening books (says, PGN or EPD book).

How many cores did you set for each engine?
Can you give me the list of engines, I will try to reproduce the issue. Thanks

1 core for each engine.

I've selected 13 engines.
