My new video shows how the module can be used to connect to Arena and play against old chess computer emulations (CB EMU):

Hi Andreas
Great project.
Maybe another project for you in the future might be to incorporate MessChess into a module together with Fanz Hubers 300 dedicated chess computer ROMS similar to what the Certabo DaVinci (Raspberry Pi) can do.
Regards
Bryan

Hi Bryan,
I already thought about your proposed idea. A Raspberry Pi Zero W could be integrated without problems into one mephisto module. Since it is driven with 5V, even the original mephisto power supply could be used.
Do you know if Franz' CB Emu is running under Linux, too?
Best regards,
Andreas

I guess this is all already existing, otherwise DGT Pi could not run all those dedicated chess computers.

I have continued to work diligently on my module. Here is a new video:
The now used 3.5 inch touch display could also be used to connect to a Raspberry Pi and to use Linux. But I have to say that this is currently not my focus. If someone is interested and can help, I am open to collaborate.
Best regards, Andreas
