Re: Drofa 3.2.0
Just testing it. Also my test confirms 3000+ ELO even without tablebases. It's very fast on my hardware: 4 mN/sNo4b wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 6:45 pmWell, there are no plans on replacing evaluation with any type of NN in the near future (lets say a half a year or so). I would say that Drofa handcrafted eval has some potential and can still be massively improved.AlexChess wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 11:47 am Thank you! Since there is also a popcount version, I will test it soon. With NNUE the quantum leap is certain (when you will add it, please make it usable also without AVX or BM2) . TIP: I'm dreaming about an engine capable of positional sacrifices (eg: giving a pawn or knight with no material compensation, but leading to a winning position, out from endgames solved by tablebases) . Do you think that it would be possible to add patterns for that?
Best regards, Alex
As for style.... Well, I dont really know about the method of doing it. Especially if coupled with the goal of increasing elo
I will post here all the games played against 60 top engines 300/40 + 300/40 + 1 secs / all and in the meanwhile I offer you my customized logo

Re: Drofa 2.0.0
Anybody else having problems registering this engine in the Fritz gui? I select the engine but clicking on "Ok" to complete the registration does nothing. Seems to work just fine in Arena.

Re: Drofa 2.0.0
Hello.
I`m aware of this issue. Currently i`m mostly taking a break from Drofa developement, but i`ll try to figure it out.
It wouldnt be fast though, as I dont have Fritz GUI myself.

For the Drofa programmer:,
at the moment I am looking also in Drofa 3.2.0 ...

If you like it ...
40 moves in 14 minutes on 4.4Ghz Intel i9-10900k
768Mb for Hash, Shredder 13 GUI, 5-pieces if possible.
One game with one core without ponder, without resign mode need around one hour!
