I checked it.phhnguyen wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 8:20 amSomething should be wrong!Uri Blass wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 7:47 am when I open the dialog Recent tournaments I see empty list of tournaments
The only thing that I can change is Max Recent Files when the default is 50.
If I understand correctly I need first to save files of the tournaments to be able to use it and BSG
does not auto store older tournament automatically but even saving the tournaments does not help because I continue to see empty list
If a user has a tournament with one or more played-game (played tournament), whenever he creates a new tournament, that (old) one should be displayed automatically in the Recent tournaments dialog box. The user doesn't need to do anything else. The no-played tournament will be discarded.
Can you help to check that:
1) If you have a tournament, make sure it has at least one played game
2) Create a new tournament
Now, open the Recent tournament, it should show the previous one

Unfortunately after a tournament with at least one played game and creating a new tournament with more games
I have an empty list after I play the games of the new tournament and do not see a list of previous tournaments.
I see the same picture that you posted but nothing below the line of
ID type,...
I also do not see some colors that you have in the picture In the line of Recent tournaments above Max recent files.

I remember BSG had got a bug with the Unicode folder and I guess you have been still using the folder in Hebrew. Perhaps I missed some libraries/functions to fix that bug. Will check that.
For now, you may backup yourself the file banksiaplaying.json right after it completed, for merging later. Just copy it to somewhere in your computer.

No sorry.
I have been still pondering how to build that feature. One of the problems is that IMO, BSG may not be better than a typical text editor to edit PGN.

Oh, It's fine keep up the good work, I find a bug when I start the tournament then I check the Analyze on the fly while running the tournament, the game and engine suddenly stops while the tournament is running but then it start analyzing. I thought I can analyze while there's an outgoing tournament, I hope you add that in the future
I also do that as of now, editing pgn in Arena.

Re: Banksia GUI released
I had pushed the new version 1.1 (fixed bugs, upgrade Stockfish from 13dev to version 14dev) into GitHub and submitted it for review (by Apple). It has just been released for testing.
If you and anyone could help, just following the below link (valid for a few weeks) to test. If everything is fine, I will release it officially within 1-2 weeks.

Thanks all for any help.

Re: Banksia GUI released
Actually, a few days ago, when I updated my iPad to iPadOS 15, I found that the main bugs (Level and Options screens disappearing) were no longer there !
But there were still instabilities, also the fact that the Board screen could only be viewed when the iPad was held vertically (i.e. smaller side on top and bottom).
I hope that version 1.1 corrects all that.
And a big thank you to you, Nguyen Pham !
