It's nice to see a new Hiarcs version after 9.5 years later.
I do not have much hope that Hiarcs 15 is as powerful as Super 5 (Ethereal, Slowchess Blitz, Koivisto, Berserk, Revenge).

I haven’t managed to get Ethereal 13.25 successfully loaded into HCE pro it hangs then HCE crashes.
All others are working fine, Stockfish, Dragon 2.6, Fat Fritz 2, no problems.
Is anyone else having problems loading Ethereal?

1. HCE database format offers huge databases only limited by memory - 1GB per 8 million games
2.Very fast searching for players, openings, events, material, pawn structure and positions
3.Comprehensive game database support (PGN, HCE, reads Chessbase CBH, CBV and EPD)
4. Export and publish your work, games and preparation to PGN, PDF, EPUB e-book and HTML
5.Automated repertoire summaries for databases and players. Player report with a single click
6.Access huge online opening books, view game trees, multiple books & Chessbase CTG books simultaneously
7. Analyse positions and games with multiple engines simultaneously with load management
8. Choose rating, time controls, start positions and openings and Chess960 for practice
9. Engine matches – set up and watch them play from books, test sets or analysis positions
Hi Harvey,

Would you mind to show me the uci output for Hiarcs 15 from cmd for changing informations (if something is changed) in the XB/UCI chronology?
May be it has meanwhile SYZ support a diff. number of max threads etc...

Who needs a single core engine nowadays? The Pro version is only 32 cores, which is also not up-to-date and too expensive at 150 euros.

(19% VAT is added)

I am not a rich men.

I'd rather take the fish and buy ChessBase GUI. Which I did too. 8-)

... and prefer to donate a few euros to new open source projects.

Yes the prices are wild.. I was hoping for only engine, with +64 cores support with 1 year engine updates, without the additional, ✓1000GB online endgame tablebases,+ 1 year online book subscription extension. I can do without these things..
