God that's horrible play...a bad human would not make these moves!
As a chess player, I of course totally agree with you. But as a statistician, here are some surprising results: I looked at the last 100 rated games played by the Monchester bot on LiChess at 5' plus two to four seconds (or equivalent) vs humans, and the result was that the bot scored 53 wins, 44 losses, and 3 draws vs. 1553 average opposition for a 1584 performance rating, which equates to 1503 FIDE per the formula in another thread. Five minutes plus 3 seconds (average) is not so fast, and the bot is set to play the same regardless of time control. It's hard to believe that a bot that plays so many silly moves could be that good, but apparently tactics is everything and a four ply search is pretty good for blitz. In 3 plus 0 games, the performance was much higher, though not too many humans play against it that fast. If we define the rating as what it would earn vs. humans in Rapid (15' + 10"), it would of course be lower, but not more than a class lower, at least 1300 FIDE level. I did some tests with Dragon Elo levels and it seems that they are evenly matched at about 1232 Elo setting on Dragon (time limit doesn't matter, as both engines are defined by depth or nodes, not time). Of course the play is totally different; Dragon plays reasonably good chess positionally even at this level but only does a crippled one ply search so is tactically weaker to compensate. More like a mid level human amateur playing blitz might do. Anyway based on this it appears that we are not far off in the elo settings, maybe they play a bit stronger than intended, at least at around this level.
It is also interesting to compare the above to the 1723 FIDE equivalent Elo rating on Lichess for Safrad 2.2 at this same time control (av. 5' 3"). Safrad is only 220 elo higher by that calculation. This seems like way too small a difference, the difference seems like day and night, and a direct match is a massacre. This could indicate cheating against Safrad by some opponents, or it may just mean that engine vs engine exaggerates elo differences by more than I thought.
I do not believe that the formula that translate 1584 performance rating in lichess to 1503 fide rating is correct.

I believe 1503 fide rating player is usually clearly better than 1584 in lichess at blitz

I wanted to search games that I played against opponents who have rating 1600-1800 in lichess
but it seems that the 1600-1800 is not rating of the opponent but average rating
the result was 19-1 for me with only one game that I lost on time in a winning position.

I edited this post twice because initially I did not understand why I see opponents with rating lower than 1600 in the search.

Your Lichess blitz rating is shown as 2170. A score of 19 out of 20 against this weak field averaging maybe in the 1500s is quite normal. I don't know how you conclude that 1584 Lichess is weaker than 1503. I'm not saying you are wrong, I just don't see any evidence for that statement. You are far too strong a player to be used as a reference point for 1500 players.

Mybe his point was that his score suggest that theire rating is more like below 1400 fide. But I think the sample is too smal.

I think you are much closer to the 1500 FIDE level than Uri is, so what is your own opinion on the matter?

Oh crap I just made a serious mistake to play today, I had a little bit too many beers, and decided to play at Lichess around 4 or 5 hours ago hours. I do not know how many stupy games i played today, but I strongly recommend people not to play chess unless you are sober. Some people might THINK you are doing better drunk or high, but you aren't. I just woke up I was sleeping in front of my computer with my face on top of the keyboard.

I think you are much closer to the 1500 FIDE level than Uri is, so what is your own opinion on the matter?
Are we talking about the Monchester Günter linked to?
Try to play against it. If I should guess I would say 500 in 15+10, then I'm nice to it. Maybe it is some other engine that have played the rating up.

I believe that there are no players with rating 500 in lichess.
Here is the rating distribution in lichess.
I see that the minimal rating is 600
https://lichess.org/stat/rating/distribution/rapid

If you talk about fide then the minimal rating is 1000

I believe that the average difference between lichess and fide is clearly more than 100 elo in all levels.

Here is the list of the top players in lichess(I chose only number 1 and number 200 because I could not see below number 200).
bullet:
1)GM C9C9C9C9C9 3202
200)GM shahinlorpari 2808
blitz :
1)GM Konevlad Russia 3118
200)IM petriashvili2 2787

Rapid:
1)GM Drvitman 2986
200)FedirBohatyrchuk1892 2573

I believe less top players play Rapid and they mainly play bullet and blitz.

I believe that the average difference between lichess and fide is clearly more than 100 elo in all levels.

Here is the list of the top players in lichess(I chose only number 1 and number 200 because I could not see below number 200).
bullet:
1)GM C9C9C9C9C9 3202
200)GM shahinlorpari 2808
blitz :
1)GM Konevlad Russia 3118
200)IM petriashvili2 2787

Rapid:
1)GM Drvitman 2986
200)FedirBohatyrchuk1892 2573

I believe less top players play Rapid and they mainly play bullet and blitz.
The conversion formula given in another thread was FIDE = lichess blitz * .83458 + 181. So a Lichess blitz rating of 3000 = 2685 FIDE, more than 300 elo difference, quite consistent with what you quote. But 1700 lichess blitz = 1600 FIDE per the formula, so only at or below 1700 is the gap supposed to be 100 or less.
