Integrated in my CECSA script. Best performance achieved with clang and PGO on Android. Engine crashes on the very first move in Chess fo Android, but it works witout any issues in DroidFish.

For online games (Lichess, PlayChess, InfinityChess) it is important to be able to set Move Overhead (because LAG). Thanks.

Hi Ed,

7.5 is stronger as 7.9!
https://www.amateurschach.de/t-ki/common/ki-ratings.jpg

Koivisto is very strong in endgames.
Move average for won games is very high for the Elo the program have.
Quantity of miniatures is not very high for the level Koivisto have.

The very late mid-games ...
Here the strength explode.

Very interesting style!
Other style as Stockfish, Komodo, Lc0 produced.

Ethereal, Seer and different others have a comparable style to Koivisto I think.
But Koivisto is more danger in endgames.
Seer is stronger in king safty with many pieces on board.
A bit comparable but different I think.

A very young programmer team ...
Hm, I am to old for all that ... the young generation with a perfect example what is possible today.

The new website is nice.
Logo is nice too.

:-)

Go Koivisto go ...
My congratulation ... I have fun with Koivisto!

Best

If I read Koivisto I am thinking often on Kallisto (program from Bart Westrate, The Netherland).
Maybe one of the most talented programmer at this time the program is available (MS DOS, but a very nice graphic).
Jan Louwman told this often to me.

:-)

The style from Koivisto and Kallisto is also a bit comparable.
Each time good for a big surprise during a game with a closed position.

A link to TCEC, not looking on TCEC games.
Here are running 500x 80 minutes games daily.

But a game vs. Ethereal ...
Ethereal is also a very interesting chess engine.
I will have a look later this evening.

Ah ...
I forgot ...
I made a short test on other systems I have.
Can be a bit more as +20 for my KI-ratings ... 8.0 to 7.13 ... for KI-Ratings with 80 minutes per game on 4.4Ghz is +20 again a lot.

Koivisto will be start again in my run-4 ... next months.

Thanks again for Koivisto!
Keep up the good work!

Best
Frank
