Beatiful draw by threefold repetition (easy for engines).

Hello:

This is an example from a real game (game and GIF), just to see how chess is so amazing (we all here know). There is a series of only non losing moves for both sides and white is unable to force a win at the end in spite of being BNNP vs R up because of black checks and threats:

[pgn]1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bb5 a6 4. Ba4 Nf6 5. O-O Nxe4 6. d4 b5 7. Bb3 d5 8. dxe5 Be6 9. c3 Be7 { C83 Ruy Lopez: Open, Classical Defense } 10. a4 O-O 11. axb5 axb5 12. Rxa8 Qxa8 13. Bxd5 Rd8 14. Bxc6 Qxc6 15. Nd4 Qd7 16. Qc2 Bc4 17. Qxe4 Bxf1 18. Kxf1 c5 19. Nc6 Qd1+ 20. Qe1 Qd3+ 21. Kg1 Qd1 22. Nxe7+ Kf8 23. Kf1 Qd3+ 24. Kg1 Qd1 25. Kf1 Qd3+ 26. Kg1 Qd1 { The game is a draw. } 1/2-1/2[/pgn]

There are not difficult positions for engines in this game. However, the Open Ruy López can produce interesting games like this one! Chess is full of posibilities. Enjoy.
