After installing 13.75 as UCI- engine in Arena 3.5.1, "EvalFile" is an UCI- option to be seen with menu engine- configuration

Hey John. I wrote this up at some point for an earlier version of Ethereal. I think most GUIs have been quite easy for people. The only tricky ones are the ones that don't let you "browse" to the file via the file explorer. I would rather compile the Networks directly in... but there are constraints in hosting that much data, and GPLv3 concerns :/
Arena: You can install the engine by going to "Engines" at the top bar, and selecting "Install New Engine...", which will allow you to browse for an Ethereal binary. After selection, it will ask you to confirm that Ethereal us a "UCI" engine. Afterwards, you may use "Engines", find the Ethereal engine you install, and then select "Configure". Click the folder icon for the EvalFile setting. This will allow you to browse for the e1325.standard.nnue file
Lucas Chess: You can install the engine by going to "Tools" -> "Engines" -> "External Engines" -> "New", and then browsing for the location of the Ethereal binary. Next, you will have the opportunity to set the options. Lucas Chess uses a "Relative" path. If you did not modify the file structure from the Google Drive download, then you will set the EvalFile field to "../e1325.standard.nnue"
Cutechess GUI: You can install the engine by going to "Tools" -> "Settings" -> "Engines", and then selecting the "+" icon on the bottom left. Select the "Browse" button next to the "Command" option, and navigate to the location of the Ethereal binary. Before hitting "OK", swap to the "Advanced" tab. Here you will double click the "<empty>" text located next to "EvalFile". If you did not modify the file structure from the Google Drive download, then you will set the EvalFile field to "../e1325.standard.nnue"

Thank you for your help! That's good information to include in a readme file with your project.AndrewGrant wrote: ↑Fri Jul 08, 2022 2:04 pmHey John. You guessed it correct, this one, and it will be to see if it can solve this simple 6-pieces endgame without EGTB. At least I will be happy if it can offer the Bishop to Bh3! as a Bait, weather the other engine refuse to take it and play g3 which is the correct answer, or fall for the Bait and get a draw![]()

NOTE: I already got it using another name so I would NOT be refused, and I will let you all know tomorrow if it has good endgame knowledge like Komodo Dragon and Stockfish, plus I have a few more positions to test without using 6-pieces EGTB![]()
