After Stockfish 15 Which is the 2nd strongest Free Chess Engine? Is it really Berserk ?

Well, going by the CCRL testing, for 40/15 time controls, it's Berserk, and for blitz (2' + 1'') its Leela Chess Zero. Although, the ratings at the top are all very close. Stoofvless, Etheral, Beserk, Koivisto etc are all up there.

In CCRL 4CPU testing at 40/15, Berserk 9, Koivisto 8 and SlowChess Blitz 2.9 are pretty even in strength, but in 1CPU testing, Berserk 9 seems stronger.

Ah, I neglected seeing those were multi-cpu testing results, good point.

So if there was a separation between Commercial and Free, Chess engines, Komodo Dragon is the strongest among Commercial at the Moment. :roll:

I've lost touch with reality, is Berserk based on Stockfish or is it original code?
