Hi Stefan,

With Fruit Sourcen many things are possible, no wonder.
Different programmers know that.

To do that without saying ... I used Fruit sources is a blessing.

I am looking also in Rebel 15.1.
The style of chess is clearly improved to 15x2 or 15.0.
Now it's again an very interesting Rebel since if I compare with v14.1.
For me the style of chess is much more important as Elo.
Rebel 15.1 is a direct hit (not only Elo strength alone).

A very strong work by Ed.
With 15.1 Ed is again on the way.

Current Rebel 15.1 is at first time stronger as a current dev. version from Wasp.
Around +60 more for Rebel 15.1 and the style is really nice.

I not understand that Fabien do that not in self work.
Since NN times I had no contacts to him.
But I am very sure he will like the work from Ed a lot.

Interesting is:
How many of all the own chess programming knowledge is inside in Rebel 15.1.
Menas improved from Fruit sources with knowledge from Ed.
Without to looking what he do with neural network ideas.

OK, after Rebel 14.1 second Rebel version (v15.1) I like a lot.
Good to have ...

Best
Frank

Rebel is Toga, not Fruit. But Toga was derived from Fruit.

Hi Stefan,

I know!
And I know the opinion from Fabien to Toga.

Example:
All the different Toga versions are not stronger as Senpai (without NN).
Not important how many persons are working on Toga in the past.

Fabien is one of the geniusses in chess programmings.
And with succesor Senpai hold Fabien his very easy own way.

Toga sources made the main idea around Fruit to complicated (not my own opinion, I am not a programmer).
But the main structur from Fabien is inside.

That is a point I can't understand ...
Why Toga and not Senpai?

Senpai was too strong to use a base for NNUE development.
90% of coding is debugging, the other 10% is writing bugs.
