It's unclear to me which Rebel version is playing, the thread is about 15.1, the PGN says version 15 and the red above suggest version 15x2.Rubinus wrote: ↑Sat Jul 23, 2022 12:57 am AMD Ryzen 5 4500U with Radeon Graphics

15x2. Unless the title is too long, which is sometimes a problem in CB, I usually leave the title as chosen by the author. And the 15x2 version is reported to me as 15. That's why I added in what specifically played.
She the download page confused me a bit when the newer 15.1 is down. And it's not listed in the tests at the link yet, there are some betas. When the 100 game match is over, sometime on Tuesday, I can drop 15.1 - if it's also MP.

15.1 has a newer Net architecture from Chris tuned by Ed and some search improvements from Ed. So it should do better in a test. It has a higher Elo. I don't think 15.1 would play 7.Qc2 under your conditions but it takes a while for changing to Nxb6

Rebel 14.1 MOD plays it (Nxb6) immediately but because it does not seem to see 7.Qc2 Bf2+ and also does not see much of White disadvantage after 7.Qc2, expecting 7...Bf5 instead of the check, I do not think it is really better than 15.1
Rebel 14.1 MOD, after 7...Bf2+ as played by Ethereal

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first
place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you
are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

Super! Rebel 15.1 will be better!

Re: REBEL 15.1

One may expect something better.
90% of coding is debugging, the other 10% is writing bugs.

Here Rebel was a little off by Black showing the win. Tempo 15+10. White on the turn.
Already results against Ethereal and Revenge, at C30-39. 35 and 36%. Once I process the files and save them somewhere, they'll be next in the tournament thread, hopefully tomorrow.
