Not all programs have it. CB told me this but I skipped that part. It probably will work but that was my mistake. I'm a guy. We don't read all the instructions, heehee.
Are you using the cracked version of CB16?
If so that would explain the errors you are getting... :)
No, I paid hard, cold cash for Fritz 18 & CB16.

Fritz 18 & CB 16 has another problem which for me is quite annoying & irksome.

The cross table for team events doesn't launch the games. Earlier versions such as CB12 was showing it correctly.

Fritz 18 & CB16 shows as below:

Clicking the score doesn't launch the games.

CB12 shows as below and launches the game once the score is clicked:

Hope Chessbase will note this and correct in their next update.

Never live on 'hope'. We elect you to report the issue to Chessbase! :)

I do know the function works in general in Megabase 2022 - just tried it.
However, this is an 'old' tournament and all the game scores would not be available so perhaps that has something to do with it(?)

Did you try for a team event like Olympiad? I know for sure that it works for round robin or Individual Swiss tournament.

Let me know if it works for say 2018 Olympiad in CB16 GUI.

Just want to highlight that the launching of the game from the cross table depends on the GUI and not on databases!

So, I went to the Dubai Ol 2018, right clicked on a random game, clicked crosstable and it generated one. I then clicked on a random entry for Adly,Ahmed - which happened to be for Khademalsherieh, Sarasadat and the game opens.

Sorry! I didn't understand the part "I then clicked on a random entry for Adly Ahmed" since the crosstable you generated shows Country vs Country result.
One has to click on the result for a country vs country and we get a table for individual boards score. By clicking on the scores the games has to launch. But this is not happening for me.
