I already have them, it took me over 2 hours to select them from the already Fischer Random Chess 960. I will purchase Dragon 3.1 tomorrow to test it against Stockfish 15. I do NOT want to send them to anybody because I want to be the first to test them with the best two engines. It is very simple, simply look at every 960 chess position and select those that meet the criteria.

NOTE: I might start testing with Dragon 2.6.1 vs Stockfish 13 starting in a few minutes, just to be the first, and once I get Dragon 3.1, I will start all over again tomorrow. If you already have Dragon 3.1 and the latest Stockfish you can still be the first to test those 324 positions with Dragon 3.1, but you have to do your homework to select those positions and erase all other from the already 960 pgn and rename it Chess324.

It may be because JavaScript is disabled. Just a guess on my part.

There was a problem with the link to off-site images I had specified for the diagram, which got wrapped in HTML tags to make it display as a link by the forum software when I submitted the posting. I have fixed that now, and also changed the JavaScript link to point to my own website instead of to chessvariants.com, because on the latter the update function seems to fail and it keeps showing an old version of the script.

Anyway, it should work now. When you open the AI bar (clicking the Play It! link), pressing the Restart button will show you another shuffle.

I am NOT a good player, as a matter of fact according to you, I am just a pawn pusher, even if you keep guessing who I am for all these years, I managed to beat it, here is the game.

Well, it is not much fun getting crushed by an unbeatable opponent, right? This is why I let the Interactive Diagram only search 2.5 ply deep.

The intended use case is for illustrating descriptions of chess variants in which unorthodox pieces participate. So that people that have just read the rules have a sparring partner at hand to get a feel for how the game works in practice.

BTW, it is possible to paste the game back into the dashed box below the diagram (where the game history also appears), in order to step through it in the Diagram. In this case this might work a bit erratic, because you made a copy of the diagram on the same page; the script is not really meant for that, and the game might actually be loaded in the other copy of the diagram than the one in which box you pasted it.

I haven't made a pgn of them myself yet, I only invented the game yesterday! Note that the 324 positions are NOT a subset of chess960, only 18 of them are. In chess960 the positions are symmetrical, in my chess324 variant most of them are not symmetrical.

I expect that in a chess324 match between top engines results should be similar to a chess960 match, but with far fewer draws. So if the win ratio is the same, the elo difference might be double or triple or more. For now that will of course make Stockfish look good, it will always magnify any rating difference.

Thanks, Larry, definitive this chess variant need to be given a chance.

Speaking of double Fisher random chess (DFRC).

It is very rich in openings count, its also do not request book to differentiate engines.
Main problem is many DFRC openings exceeds the draw range.
I am currently try to clear DFRC from "busted" openings.
chess324 is a subset of DFRC, but has no positions clearly beyond the draw range, and doesn't require the special rules of castling. For some purposes there may be a need for more than the 648 game matches possible with chess324, so there may still be a reason to continue to explore DFRC, but for the vast majority of uses 648 games should be enough between two particular opponents.

I was only able to use 18 positions from Chess 960 the rest I had to create them, but I use the existing 960 pgn format and based on your criteria is not too hard to do, that is why it took me a little bit over 2 hours. Probably CCRL should start testing soon, I hope.
