booot 7.0 final release

Post by booot »

Good day all!

Finally, i release 7.0 version of my engine. I passed all the way and received my own implementation of NN in chess evaluation using Delphi, Pyton and SIMD. Seems, it works. Now i use the smallest possible net (will developit in future) but it plays much better then Booot with HCE.
This time only one exe file (booot now works only on processors with avx2 support) and, as usial, sources.

Enjoy it! And peace to all of you!

Thanks Alex — it's good to see progress in Delphi.

This version did hang a couple of times when I used the Shredder GUI as I cycled through some PGN test positions.

Alex Morozov.
Sadly, this version is buggy. In cutechess-cli (running 20 games simultaneously), several booot7-instances are terminating. And the running ones are causing a million warnings "illegal PV moves".

Sorry, but for my testings, this engine is useless until bugfixing...

Thanks! I really changed much in this version. I test engine only in Arena and did not see bugs. I will use cutechess-cli to catch them. What conditions did you use for testing (time control, number of threads etc.)?
