Great Fritz 17 rocks lets check!

Post by Eduard »

I'm watching the live broadcast on PlayChess. It plays Niemann! It's exciting.

I run my engine, the position seems unknown. My engine gets to depth 45 quickly.

My Engine live with Lets Check on PlayChess.com (Broadcast):
Image

But position discovered by AmonFritz (ChessBase Account?) with Fritz 17. That can only be a joke. And then also registered twice  at Lets Check (Date is from today 2x and not one "discovered" from yesterday)! What shoud that?

Note: If you analyze online at ChessBase, you will automatically be connected to Lets Check after each move. Lets Check cannot be deactivated. Why does the slow FRitz 17 have to push my engine away? My engine calculates deeper and faster, and the position is new.

Hey guys, you don't have to brag about Fritz 17 like he discovered the position, which wasn't the case! I'm pissed off, sorry! :x

Again, I'd like to completely disable Lets Check when I'm online on PlayChess. That will not do! ChessBase forces me to pass on my analysis to Lets Check. I can manually disable the lets check connection on each move, but when a new move is played, I'm automatically reconnected.

If I have to endure Let's Check (one agony if I have to pass on my personal analyses) then please at least put the best engines first set to top and not Fritz 17 - and do it twice. If you're not pissed off, you can take a lot.

Disable “let’s check?” But it’s Hikaru’s favorite feature!
Fat Titz by Stockfish, the engine with the bodaciously big net. Remember: size matters. If you want to learn more about this engine just google for "Fat Titz".

Deactivation is not possible. So I sadly left the live broadcast and went to sleep (it was 11 p.m. for me). Before that, I watched the live video from America on YouTube on my tablet. However, I like to analyze and use the Fritz GUI. Please not like that, no thanks ChessBase!

This morning, I see Niemann won

Hello Eduard,

if you select "Settings", as seen on your screenshot, and then disable "autoconnect" it shoud be deactivated.

Best regards,
Dirk

Yes, that works, but only for the current position. Unfortunately, if a new move comes onto the board, you are automatically reconnected to Lets Check.

That's the sad thing. Lets Check ignore my desired settings.

Only ChessBase knows why you can't analyze in peace and without Lets Check on the server. Almost every day (even today!) I get a ChessBase letter.

I bought all the new Fitze (!!!) and have several ChessBase accounts. But at some point I would like to have my peace and not be bothered. I would also like to have peace and quiet on the server when analyzing. But I'm not allowed!

And then this old Fritz 17 comes along and imposes himself, even twice (!!) with the same account on Lets Check!! That is too much for me.
