clarifying a few things:
this was my test - TC was 3m+3s. the BT1024 net is actually weaker than the known best one (RL caused some major regressions.) right now, it's probably a toss-up between T78 and T80, with T80 coming out on top in some more recent tests (like the one posted above.

Nvidia 4080 graphics card go to there website and read about it
Not sure why you even took the time to respond. Thanks...but no, no desire to search deep in the bowels of a website when I don't know what I am searching for.
The only 'mining' (if that is what you are referring to) I am aware of is crypto mining....but that would seem to have nothing to do with chess -specifically stockfish or komodo which you mention.

lc0 with a nvidia 4090 vs stockfish on a i7-12700K 12 cores who wins
Why I should buy an RTX 4090 or i7-12700K?
I will buy a maxed out MacBook Pro 16-inch M1 MAX and if I also want to build a pc myself, then I would buy the i9-13900 + 2x to 4x RTX 4090 TI and crush everything
I prefer the AMD Threadripper 7990WX with 128/256 cores but it isn't available now.

What is available now is 2 x EPYC Genoa at 96 cores each giving you 192 cores / 384 threads. But you'll need $20-30K spare.
I've heard the 4090 Ti may not come due to heat issues.
Mac Pro next year rumoured to be 48 (very fast) cores, so that's interesting too.
I'm not sure but I don't think so. Compare the (3.70 vs probably 6.00) ghz and 96/192 vs 128 cores together.
Does the 384 MByte L3-Cache helps Stockfish and LC0 a lot?
What heat issue?
1500 Watt is not a heat issue. It is what you need in Siberia.
Yes the Mac Pro with M2 Extreme or M3 Extreme is very interesting.
But I prefer a MacBook with M3 Ultra or better M3 Extreme.
I don't think that the Mac Pro will be a mobile device and I don't think I can take it always 10 times a day with me to a different place to work or to do other stuff and it doesn't have a screen so can I connect it to my MacBook Pro 16-inch M1 MAX?
