Unfortunately, I don't like Stockfish's new style (Tactically weaker than the previous net)! The new network "nn-335a9b2d8a80.nnue" (trained with countless lc0 games) always wants to play with less material in the endgame. Rook and queen endgames are meant.

Right now my engine with the new network would rather play it with less material:

[fen]5rk1/2R2pp1/1p6/7p/4R2P/3rP1P1/5P2/6K1 b - - 0 34[/fen]

A pawn will soon be given away, and after that a second pawn will be given away as well. The position is of course drawn. Nevertheless: I have always seen this observation at LcO in the last few months and Years!

[fen]8/8/7k/6p1/1R3KPP/8/8/4r3 w - - 0 65[/fen]

My new Stockfish clone always wants to finish all rook endgames like this. Always! First one pawn down, then two pawns down. A few months ago Stockfish played such endgames differently.

The positions are not accidental. I can show countless such positions in a single day, all played on PlayChess with the new network.

Sh.. Leela style! I will implement the previous network again.

So, where can the old SFish nets be downloaded?

Thanks - I can't find the old link (and Web searches have become useless in this regard).

The new network is positionally stronger. I have now tested the new network with the old scale (1064 + 106) and with the old tunings, and am surprised that it works better for my purposes (analysis).
