Nice. Will you be also testing MCTS ?
Hadn't planned to do so.
Shame. I think an argument can be made that Komodo MCTS is more significant than the classical search of Komodo. But hey ho.

That would be amazing. It's the only engine I know of which has this hybrid search idea (when MCTS is enabled), kind of like halfway between Lc0 and a classical alpha beta.

Can you write what kind of books these are. I would also like to request that information on what books are used for testing be available on the website.

lkaufman wrote: Mon Dec 19, 2022 4:16 am KomodoChess.com has released Dragon 3.2, an upgrade of 3.1 which won the 2022 World Computer Chess Championship after a
tiebreaking match with Lc0. It has a newer net, search improvements, and speedups compared to Dragon 3.1, which make it about ten elo
stronger with normal openings (at CCRL blitz tc, one to eight threads), also ten elo stronger at FRC (chess960), and twenty elo stronger
with "unbalanced human openings". Similar Elo gains in both standard and MCTS modes. We have also down-scaled our evaluations to the same
standard as Stockfish has adopted, namely that 1.0 means that the position sits near the win/draw line. Dragon 3.1 and 3.2 also have a
user-settable minimum time per move when using the LimitStrength option, and allow for Elo setting up to 3499 (3500 means full strength).
As usual, it is free for subscribers, and 20% discounted for purchasers of Dragon 2 or later version. No price changes from Dragon 3 or 3.1.
Note that we are no longer offering subscriptions. It is likely that 3.2 will be the last of the Dragon 3 series, and we don't know when
Dragon 4 (or whatever it might be named) might be available. In the event that current subscribers don't get at least 3 upgrades within a year
or close to it (they will all get at least one with this one), reasonable refunds will be offered. We may have more to say about our plans in
the near future.
For Christmas only can we get Dragon 3.2 for 25% Off, so we can donate it to our nephews and nieces :?:
