I throttled my laptop extremely. With Windows 11 and all activities on the PlayChess server, the CPU consumes only 6 watts. It only gets 50 to 60 degrees warm and no fan is running! Nevertheless, 2600 kns are achieved in the starting position with Stockfish! With it I can play nonstop for many hours in the Server in battery mode and even set the brightness to 85%. I rarely lose with an optimized book, the 64 core machines have not been able to defeat me so far.
The processor is made in 7 nm. The newer AMD CPUs are made in 6 nm and are even better. Intel is at 10 nm.
