Here are 9000 TCEC checmates or easy wins for Black, collected via the following query:
select t.Epd + ' ' +
dbo.opcode_format('bm', bm) +
dbo.opcode_format('c0', Engine) +
dbo.opcode_format('ce', ce) +
dbo.opcode_format('acd', acd)
, * from Tcec t where ce between 10000 and 32758 and dbo.ChessmanCount(Epd) > 9 and Epd like '% b %' and result = '0-1' order by ce desc
I chose to limit mate depth to filter out the super easy ones and also require ten chessmen so that there is not a simple tablebase lookup

Taking ideas is not a vice, it is a virtue. We have another word for this. It is called learning.
But sharing ideas is an even greater virtue. We have another word for this. It is called teaching.

It seemd that I went forward and backward in analysis and gave the wrong position.

Re: tcec practical hard mate test
Ran this with HOUDIDIT with Nalimov tables for 9 hours. 6 threads, 16G Hash. Other technical info in signature.7R/2k1p2P/r2rP3/8/3p1R2/8/2P2p2/2K5 w - - 0 1 bm Rc8+ dm 26

Found a Mate in 24. I ran it as PV=1. After this run, I changed to PV=2 (to check for duals) and so far the best 2nd move is Rb8 = M31 @41ply.
I thought I read in another post that Chest had this as M14 ?? If so, then why isn't that indicated as the real "dm" value?
