Novag Jade II Vs a 2120 Human

Post by Chessqueen »

I found my old Novag Jade II and took it to a Minnesota chess Club, there was a human rated 2120 which he told me NOT to reveal his name if I was going to post it, which I agreed. Here is the game. He actually was going to lose on time, since he did not know how to win this endgame and decided to resigned.

NOTE: I decided to let Bbc 1.4 rated around 2140 to continue the game for Black since the human resigned and Novag JADE II simply had an easy win

The ELO is in the range of expected strength the machine has.

It took a 2125 Elo engine like BiKJump to beat Stockfish with White after move 81. f6 Ke6 , with NO Nalimov Tablebases. Any human player will immediately notice that the Black King main disadvantage is that it can NOT get to d4, f4 or g5 square which will make it easy for White to Win with a Knight Vs Bishop. That is the real reason why the human rated 2120 resigned after move 81. f6 Ke6 he knew that he was lost.

Here is another game of Novag JADE II versus a human rated 1975, I was offering him $20.00 if he could at least draw. On move 12 if the Knight did NOT check on c2+ after Queen to a3 Rook c3 trap the Queen
