That's the best way for Mr. Manzo to reduce the bugs in his engines :-)

We reported the results of MCTS2 vs. the standard
2 mcts threads is the optimum on the hexacore of one of our testers.
It's better both in a match and in hard positions solving.
This value clearly depends on the machine's technical specifications.

Good work! Latest version is impressive test position solver. Fighting with Crystal 6 for number one spot.

Hello everyone,
thank you for the ShashChess engine.
As a MacOS user, I appreciate the Mac.M2.7z version.
However, the virus scanner on MacOS and Windows is blocking it from opening.
Does anybody has a solution?
Best regards,
Frank.

Hello Andrea, I tested Brainlearn 26.3 under Fritz 18 and Fritz 19 GUI. Unfortunately, playing with MCTS still doesn't work.

When compiling I got the following message:

The engine crashes with both compilations under both GUIs:

Pity you're right, Eduard, Brainlearn with MCTS usage still isn't fully stable in Fritz, ShashChess 34.4 in my latest trials was, as well as in cutechess (100 games without problem), yet Brainlearn 26.3 disconnected after 20 games once there too.
With all latest versions of ShashChess+MCTS I didn't have any crash in Shredder 13- GUI, so my suspicion was, it could be a matter of communication between GUI and engine. Shredder anyhow to me has the best implementation of UCI- protocol, no wonder, Meyer- Kahlen has invented it.

Edit: In Fritz- GUI Brainlearn 26.3 finished 256 postitions of a test- suite without problems right now too, so I'd say, stability in Fritz has got better somehow yet too anyhow. Maybe it's a matter of compile too, regards
Peter.

Second run with suite in Fritz yet crashed again too after 99 positions. Sent debug log file to Andrea as well as the one of cutechess- match,
Peter.
