As a BIG fan of CPT, I can't wait to give it a try.

I bought F19 for various reasons, it should be a gift for my nephew for his birthday. He started playing computer chess on the server. But with such Syzygy BUGs I can't give him the GUI.

Curious, regarding your Zyzygy issue, are you using multi-variation mode?

I wrote to SR 3 or so years ago and got a response - mainly to get off the 'subscription model' because I had reservations about the whole approach. I also was hoping he could help with a 'feature' he had been teasing about....and he said it was 'too big' but if I could wait, it would be on the next version. Which...as you know, never happened.

Like I said, the 345men Syzygy are not found by the GUI! It looks like this. GUI uses Syzygy is activated and is loaded when the program starts:

Only the engine calculates. But the Syzygy are not defective and under Fritz 18 everything looks correct as here with 6men. Its a BUG in Fritz 19!!

I checked the positions posted with Fritz 19 Update 4. Everything correct now! GUI finds now all 3456men, and the solutions are correct.

Yes.

Two more BUGs are still there:

1. I always run ENG matches with Ponder ON. In the engine window only one move of the variant is displayed if the engine has a ponder hit. That looks stupid. Is this a feature or a BUG?

2. The evaluation profile cannot be closed in the ENG Match!

Fritz 19 Bug: It almost always "forgets" i.e. blanks out / loses the information for the White player, when saving a game that I play against an engine. Everything else is there... Black's info; date, tournament etc etc. Fritz 18, 17, 16 didn't have this problem.
