Crafty doesn't learn a thing ( I can see how this reply could fool people into believing this were the reason for the draws).

Current stockfish is poor in short calculation time eg. 1 second, increasing it plays much better

Explain the time usage (if you had disabled learning)...Peter Berger wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 2:27 pm Crafty doesn't learn a thing ( I can see how this reply could fool people into believing this were the reason for the draws).

There is nothing to disable - Crafty's learner is actually not learning anything sensible at all.Guenther wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 2:43 pmExplain the time usage (if you had disabled learning)...Peter Berger wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 2:27 pm Crafty doesn't learn a thing ( I can see how this reply could fool people into believing this were the reason for the draws).

Crafty just used its default opening book. This is getting boring, I am out.

Well, with the book(s) available (it is 3 book files by default) it still does book learning except learning is disabled in the config file of Crafty. Also it escapes me why Crafty is allowed to use a book and get an advantage of 20 minutes, while SF is not - and of course you did not answer
most questions and instead got 'bored' when told some truths.

I am well-known for doing unfair tests, see: https://www.stmintz.com/ccc/index.php?id=331700
Serious? Stockfish couldn't care less than having 20 less minutes than its opponent. This would be barely measurable in any case in most "scientific" setups.
