The draw problem is due to the fact that the low levels on Komodo 14 or 14.1 were just one ply searches with other restrictions and variety added, but a 1 ply search is not sufficient to detect a repetition. This was corrected in Komodo Dragon 3.3, which normally would detect a repetition even on low levels.
