Re: Is Lichess Elo system OK?
Eduard, leave me alone!
As I pointed out to you already more than once, Lichess uses the Glicko 2 rating system, as also shown here:

Humans get an initial ranking of 1500, whereas BOTs get an initial ranking of 2000.
And as Guenther clarified, anyone can create its own rating list using the Lichess API! You can even use the source of my rating list since it is completely public.
There is a variation with rules: https://lb.chessnibble.com/bot and other one without restrictions: https://lb.chessnibble.com/unrestricted
Eduard has been continously slandering people this year and when he does the exact same thing (data from 18/12/2023):
- For example with this account: https://lichess.org/@/LermerBot
Out of 73 bullet games you played, you won 71:
- 30 of them, against @SaxtonEngine, which has 600 elo less than your BOT
- 20 of them, against @TuksuBot, which also has 600-650 elo less than your BOT
- 17 of them, against @pawn_git, which also has 550-600 elo less than your BOT
- 3 of them, against @blundar_bot, which is probably fine, since the elo difference is not too big (200-250 elo diff) but is not an strong BOT either
So, in sum, out of 71 wins in bullet, 67 of them (94,36%) where against BOTs with 550-600 elo less than your BOT.
- With this other account: https://lichess.org/@/EdoBot
Out of 213 bullet games you played, you won 187:
- 56 of them (29% of the won games), against @SaxtonEngine, which has 550-600 elo less than your BOT
- 17 of them, against @TuksuBot, which has 600 elo less than your BOT
- 51 of them (27,27% of the won games) against @admete_bot, which has 600 elo less than your BOT
- 22 of them against @pawn_git, which has 550-600 elo less than your BOT
- 14 of them against @blundar_bot, which as I said is probably fine (200-250 elo diff) but it is not an strong BOT either
- 4 of them against @expositor, which has 400 elo less than your BOT
- 6 of them against @catriever, which has 500 elo less than your BOT
- 10 of them against @AKS-Mantissa, which has 500 elo less than your BOT
So, in sum, out of 187 wins in bullet, 166 (88,77%) were against BOTs with mostly 500-600 elo less than your BOT.
Even recently:
19/12/2023:
@EdoBot has played 46 games(source: https://pixeldrain.com/u/L2c1FwWZ), it won 39:
- 28 of them (71,8%) against @SaxtonEngine, which currently has 400-450 elo less than your BOT (in bullet)
- 10 of them against @pawn_git, which currently has almost 400 elo less than your BOT (in blitz)
- 1 of them against @expositor, which current has 400 elo less than your BOT (in bullet)
So, in sum, out of 39 wins, 39 of them (100%) were against BOTs with mostly 400-450 elo less than your BOT.
Basically, you artificially increased your rating by solely playing against very weak BOTs and because of your high rating deviation you gained a lot of rating in a very short amount of time.
Anyways, why do you care so much about the rating list? It is unofficial and me and some friends made it for fun to have something similar to the Human Leaderboards Lichess provides. Thats all.
And yes, the link you provided is just a link to a Lichess team, you do not even understand what is happening!
Please, leave me alone and ignore the rating list! As simple as that!

I get it, but many readers who don't know exactly see that there's a Lichess logo here and they think it's an official Lichess ranking list.
Lichess doesn't list computers, only humans (so your list is your own illusion):

ProteusSF has also created its own Lichess list:

His list is just as nonsensical as yours.
On Github you write:
"Your Bot must not be named in the Banned Bots List for any of the following reasons:
For "farming" weaker opponents/Bots."
That's all. You don't mention the exact total number of such opponents. No concrete Elo numbers either. The fact is that you decide at your own discretion, as you like. And once again: I have never registered for the leaderboard list, so I cannot be banned. That's why I'm done with you.

Re: Is Lichess Elo system OK?
And that, don't you understand? You have developed a private list. You automatically include all bots, even those that don't want it.
I never wanted to be on this list. I've never read your site on Github (I have now) and for that reason alone I couldn't know your rules. Why should I read your website if I'm not interested? Nevertheless, you accuse me of having done something forbidden, which is not forbidden on Lichess.
That's pretty cheeky! And if you don't understand that, you're pretty stupid.

Eduard, please, leave me alone and continue with your projects.
If the list is so nonsensical to you and you are not interested what I cannot understand is that, after a week, you still keep complaining!
Does Lichess ask every high rated human player if they want to be on their Leaderboards?! No! Neither do I and the rest of the people of the team!
I also told you a lot of times that the rating list is unofficial. When does it say it is from Lichess?
Or do you think that I should search for every BOT author (some of them do not even have a Lichess account so it is impossible to contact them through Lichess) and ask each of them if they want their BOT/BOTs to be included? No, I am not going to do that sorry.
The script that generates the rating list fetches all online BOTs every 2 hours using the Lichess API and if it finds a new BOT account, it adds it to the rating list, as simple as that. I explained this to you too but you seem to not understand it either.
When did I say you had to read my website? What are you even saying?!
I told you ten times on OpenChess that you did not break any Lichess rules but the rules we established in the team, and that's all. If you still don't get that it is not my problem.
And finally, I think that if you are going to continue with your childish behavior the best thing I can do is completely ignore you. Bye.

This thread is completely OT here and I have reported it now to moderation... you can fill your own website with crusades/complaints/rants about anything, but there is no place for it here.Eduard wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2023 4:25 pm And that, don't you understand? @iBurgoS
You don't want to understand what it's about. Make your list however you want. I don't think it's nice of you to ban people from the list who didn't know the list. I didn't know the list until a few days ago. How I can should, for example, follow your rules if I don't know them?? Yet you banned me from this list and treated me like a rule-breaker. That's not nice, that's defamatory. As a new moderator in the Outskirts Forum, you should know that it's not nice for people to be blamed for things they can't do. But you do. Just remove me (my accounts) from your banned list and then it's OK with me. If I stand there unjustly, I will have no respect for you.

Re: Is Lichess Elo system OK?
Then many topics are off topic here, e.g. the threads about Carlsen and Niemann with endless off topic. Where it's all about accusations and ultimately just being right. But good.Guenther wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2023 4:54 pmThis thread is completely OT here and I have reported it now to moderation... you can fill your own website with crusades/complaints/rants about anything, but there is no place for it here.Eduard wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2023 4:25 pm And that, don't you understand?
