I'm sorry for using this forum to point out the OpenChess Forum. I am currently unable to post in the Open Chess Forum. Reason: my account keeps getting blocked and I can't respond to posts that concern me there. A PM to the admin is not possible. This function has been disabled for months:
Nevertheless, there is secret moderation in the Open Chess Forum. Secretly! There is no open moderation because there are nasty insults in the forum that I have never read in any other forum
(I am a member of Open Chess since 2010). Since 2023, everyone can write whatever they want there, everyone can insult others in a way that couldn't be worse.I asked there yesterday that my account be deleted. Instead of doing that, I was banished and my right to write was revoked. A PM to the admin doesn't work either.
I ask the admin of the Open Chess Forum (Jeremy Bernstein) to write openly about the grievances in the Open Chess Forum, either here or in the Open Chess Forum. Why am I being blocked and why is there secret moderation so that all bad entries and insults are left standing? If open and honest moderation is not possible, the forum should be close.
(The Open Chess Forum was founded in 2010 after there were discrepancies with the TalkChess Forum. I don't know exactly what happened. Originally all members of the Open Chess Forum were also members of the Talkchess Forum. The Open Chess Forum was founded by members of the Talkchess Forum)
