I think Fritz 1 is a 16 bit DOS engine, I don't think there is a UCI version of it, but I think you were already well aware of this.
I did however find some fun stuff on Ed Schröder's excellent website where you can get all of the old rebels dating back to 1994 (which would be Rebel 6.0) that run in a very cool DOS emulator https://rebel13.nl/noomen/dos-rebels.html,
and also Ed DOES have another DOS emulator with Fritz 1, 2, 2.51, and 3 (it also includes Chess Genius 1, 2, and 3) on it here: https://rebel13.nl/noomen/more-dos-oldies.html

True, this happens too often nowadays with downloads from Rebel site. Please try one of these workaround links:
