This is because I always delete older versions when a newer version is available. Anyway, I have just uploaded version 2 again. :)

Patricia 3 is much more aggressive against other engines, especially strong engines.

Against humans, I'm not sure; statistically it's Patricia 3, but some people have said that they liked playing against Patricia 2 more because it plays gambit openings all the time while Patricia 3 plays more solidly at first. It's probably a matter of taste; I'd suggest you try both and see which one you like more.

One test I did was to play Patricia 2 & 3 against a variety of weak opponents (1500 Elo - 2300 Elo) and to see what the average number of moves until mate was. The theory being that an aggressive style leads to mating attacks which end the game immediately and hence have a lower score. For reference Stockfish does OK, but not great, Lc0 is a bit better. SF Cluster is outstanding.

Patricia 3 was lower than 2, but I suspect this is because Patrcia 2 had a mate/search bug and needlessly prolonged games.
