New J.A Compiles

Dear Maestro,

Firstly, thank you for your compilation of the latest Alexandria.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work on my laptop, Intel i5, 16Gb RAM, Windows 10, Arena 3.5.1. I'm using time control: number of seconds per move. Regardless how many seconds (30, 60, 180, or 360) per move, Alexandria did not make a move.

I didn't encounter any problem with the earlier version of Alexandria that you compiled.

I can't reproduce the error. Only difference from my older compiles is that I build on Win 11 now instead of Win 8.1

Just tested on a Win 10 system. Still cannot reproduce the error. Maybe your antivirus is blocking it?

Dear Maestro Jim,

The only anti-virus that I am using is Microsoft Defender.

I am using the bmi2 of your compiled Alexandria. I have a screen shot but I do not know how to attach it.

I set setup a very simple position, with time control set to 120 sec per move but Alexandria did not make any move even after 180 sec.

I don't have this problem with your PlentyChess 4 compilation.
