The problem is where the information from the future is stored. I'm betting on a carbon isotope. Any other suggestions?

All the anomalies (by the standards of everyday life) we see in quantum physics can very easily be resolved by saying that we're not in the top level reality, but a model reality created at a higher level.

However, the more you look at things, the less this seems likely to be so (unless we're a play area for the children in the higher level - but you wouldn't need your model to have self-aware beings if that were the case).
