Congratulations to Jamie (Monty author) for winning this division. :)

However, under my one engine per author rule, I'll be leaving Monty out of the next series in favour of Akimbo.

Thanks to all who took an interest in this tournament.

Now, this is hard. OliThink is worse than Dumb?

But fear not: OliThink 5.11.2 has been released. It's avaible on my homepage und on github (now again with executables).
At least in internal competion, it beats former versions:

Code: Select all

   # PLAYER : RATING ERROR POINTS PLAYED (%) W D L D(%) CFS(%)
   1 OliThink 5.11.2 : 50 9 3253.5 5856 55.6 2376 1755 1725 30.0 100
   2 OliThink 5.11.0 : 21 8 2895.0 5855 49.4 2008 1774 2073 30.3 100
   3 OliThink 5.10.0 : 0 ---- 2634.5 5855 45.0 1747 1775 2333 30.3 ---

White advantage = -3.18 +/- 3.19
Draw rate (equal opponents) = 30.42 % +/- 0.49

Yes and it's 5.11.5 now. Anyway I would suggest to let the 5.11.4 play the next Div 11 tournament. It is supposed to promote easily. If 5.11.5 is better depends on the hardware (Level 1 CPU Cache to be precise)
