I saw in the tourneys by Graham a newer Ynode 0.204.
Is there a download url or new site available?

Dear Graham,

I have a newer version for ynode (0204)
I should be +50 stronger than previous version (0194)

Main improvements :
1 - Some UCI command fixes & optimizations.
2 - Some optimization on Vector copy operations.
3 - Some array access optimizations in C# (like in C++)
4 - Search function structural changes
5 - Bit operations optimizations. (At milliseconds level)
6 - Addition of eval caching
7 - Aspiration search - rewrite
8 - Slight modification in counting nodes count searched.

I downloaded the engine and all it did was freeze my entire Laptop PC when I tried to open it.

Hello Joe,

if you renamed the engine ...
Note: Both files should be have the same name:

Examples:
ynode_0204.exe
ynode_0204.dll.config

or

ynode.exe
ynode.dll.config

Works here without any problems, Windows 11 on different processorcs (AMD / Intel) with Shredder 12 / 13 GUI.
Not tested with other GUIs.

PS: Not sure ... but perhaps is this your problem?!
I believe if anything not working the engine produced a log / error file.
