Chess Tiger 2007, with Gambit Aggressive playing style.Marek Soszynski wrote:Which is the maddest, craziest engine?
It must be stable and usable for infinite analysis within ChessBase; so probably UCI, preferably not WB.
I have all the strong engines I want: Rybka, Zappa, Shredder, Hiarcs...
Now I want something with its own logic and very individual playing style.
Not too weak, just too wild.
I think he was asking for an engine that would be stable under CB GUI, and UCI was an optional requirementDann Corbit wrote:Is there a UCI version of Junior?playjunior wrote:I would say that later versions of Junior are rather crazy too
Is it allowed? Then I've got to mention Pro Deo as well, since you can also produce these kinds of personalities (try [Attractiveness = 300] for some mindbogglingly games!) and it plays more human likeGeorge Tsavdaris wrote:we should not forget Chessmaster(The King) engine, that can be parameterized to produce personalities with amazing (attacking) styles!
No, but that's OK, since the OP is using Chessbase.Dann Corbit wrote:Is there a UCI version of Junior?playjunior wrote:I would say that later versions of Junior are rather crazy too
Thanks for the responses.Which is the maddest, craziest engine?

Perhaps you could consider getting a GUI that does this correctly, such as the Shredder (Classic) GUI. If Chessbase can't handle personalities correctly, it's not the fault of the engines.Marek Soszynski wrote:Some of the engines suggested won't work as analysis engines within ChessBase. Others require special settings (which in my experience can't be saved reliably by ChessBase).
Looks as finally you got it:) OlIThink(UCI) since 5.11.9Marek Soszynski wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2008 1:03 pm At the moment my wants are satisfied by Junior 10.1, which is well known, and by Bas Hamstra's Tao 5.6 http://wbec-ridderkerk.nl/html/details/Tao.html although the latter dates from March 2004. Meanwhile I look forward to OliThink becoming UCI.
