Time Control: 1 min, 45 sec + 1 sec, 760 msec increment (equivalent to 2 min + 2 sec on an i7-3770 machine)
Hash: 256 MB if possible

Tablebase: None for engines.
Ponder: off
Book: Engines use their own book if they have one. Otherwise, a 5-move Arena book is provided.
Maximum number of moves: 160

Adjudication:
- Arena is only allowed to adjudicate tablebase draws, draws by repetition, draws by 50-move rule,
and draws by maximum number of moves.
- Arena is not allowed to adjudicate games based on scores.
- Resignation is disabled, if possible. If not possible, the resignation value is set to the highest allowed by the engine.
- An engine can only win via checkmate, time forfeit, illegal move, or resignation.

All opponents are C++ engines in the 2445-2555 rating range.

Thanks a lot. Looks like petrel 2.0 scales terribly. High but stupid NPS does not win at LTC.

Version 2.1 plays much better. No more of that incessant flip-flopping between minus and plus scores and vice versa. And it hasn't fallen for any stalemate traps yet. :)

2.1 consists of portability fixes and should not play noticably stronger or weaker (unless build is much faster or slower). Functional diff is very minimal (3-5 Elo) I am not even sure if the last change is not a regression (-5 Elo).
