Good morning Gabor,

Thanks for your review.

I used only the setting by Dr. Wael Deeb and changed a bit on one position.
Fact is thats very interesting to change the Zappa settings.
Fact is too, the engine is great to test others because the style is very own.

Why I do that with Zappa ... Garbor?
I have the idea to build a group of engines, max. 25, I test vs. new engines with round-robin 25x 400 games = 1.000 games.
Here always the same 25 test-standard-engines, different playing levels from 2600 Elo to 3500 Elo (if Rykba have 3000 or Shredder 13 have around 3100 Elo).

Zappa will be one of the 25 "Standard-Engines".

Example:
An update from a known engine is available ...
The engine have to play now the 1.000 games.

Points = 425 vs. the group of 25 "Standard" engines.
So I can give the information (on my engine-overview I am working since a while).

000-100 points = Category 1
101-200 points = Category 2
201-300 points = Category 3
...
901-1000 points = Category 10

With the final result ...
The new released engine version is playing in Category 5 with 425 points.
And in my overview you can find: 425.0 / Cat-05

Not sure to which time I will start with it.
At the moment I am thinking about new PCs (faster MINI-PCs) and I have this year not enough time for it!

Note:
That's not a rating list, some others ideas I had in my brain to do that later, next year I think ... I don't know.
My engine-overview must be good, most information I got from CCRL, Günther Simon (his engine overview is great), Jim Ablett, different others and from all the own tourneys and rating system I created.

Best
Frank

You're welcome, Frank.

I did not know the outcome in advance, of course, but it seems the authors's default values are close to optimal.
