My old computer recently died, and I had Houdini installed and licensed on it (also installed on my old laptop). Now I want to install it on my new computer, but it seems the license is limited to a certain number of activations.

Since I can’t deactivate the old installation, does anyone know if there’s a workaround to install to a new computer?

In any case, you will need the original setup files and passwords for the respective Houdini version.
First, install Houdini on a device. This version is not fully functional because it has not been activated.
Now uninstall this version from the current Houdini folder using uninstall.exe!
