Perhaps put the polyglot book in the folder and then make the necessary changes in the ini file?

I put the polyglot book into the folder and change de books name to Deuteriumbook.bin and fail

Hi there,
in the case of the Shredder-GUI ...
Shredder can managed 40 UCI options / parameter / features.
I remember that I had in the past problems with the UCI configuration of Deuterium under the Shredder GUI.
In this case it make more sense to config Deuterium as WB engine with wb2uci adapter.
I don't know, but perhaps the reason the TalkChess member asked for xb.
Best
Frank
PS: Same problem in the past I had with Lc0 ... more as 40 parameters.
All parameters above the first 40 parameters will not saved.
But in case of Lc0 it's very easy to use the additional lco.config.
