Belfish won the tournament. Stockfish is still a little bit too strong although the difference is not so big.
Lunar is getting stronger each month, and the new Gyatso v1.4 also did a very good job.

The tournament run without problems, but some people would like have their opponents kibitzing instead of whispering.

I don't know what you mean by pipe disconnects, do you mean the engine lost contact with the GUI? To me it looked more like you were loosing your internet connection, if you are using Wifi than that could be the problem.

Pretty decent for Patricia on just 4 threads, better than expected.

Yes, it's a very strong and agessive engine, but with Swiss tournaments you always need a bit of luck.

No Wifi. Next time i make a screenshot. Internet was ok. It was a winboard notification. I don't like winboard at all. It is crappy and bloated m.i. It has settings scattered all around the place. It's not clear which settings are leading. There is a book file setting (and more) at "common engine" and also at Engine #1. I just don't get it.

In common engine there are checkboxes for engine has own book which i uncheck but always default automatic to "on". Very frustrating interface. I wonder if there's a better Gui which can connect to servers and Kibitz....

I'm using good old Winboard 4.8.0 for the monthly and never ever had a problem with it - rocksolid, reliable

I use Winboard as well - only for this tournament, nothing else. After you become accustomed to how it works, it does the job perfectly. It is probably the best free option for this purpose. Chesspartner seems popular but it is an old commercial product.
