Critter 1.2 is a new champion ... in mate solving

What hardware you used and what time did you give Critter per position?

Apart from Critter/Houdini, have you checked any other chess programs? Have you checked Komodo v3 - how does this chess program do?

I gave engines one minute in dual Pentium and 1 GB hash (Critter seems to improve a lot from 256M to 1 GB). Critter solves about 65% of positions which is at same level than Chest Autoturbo. I don't have Hiarcs or Zapchess to test, Komodo is not good in solving.

Do you maybe have such a link for 1.4 and or 1.5 too? Tried on my own on that wayback- machine site too but didn't succeed. I'm asking because of the position- learning- feature, I think to remember, one of these versions had, 1.6 later on didn't have it anymore, regards
